Wild Rice & Ham Soup--Slow Cooker!

Slow Cooker Creamy Ham & Wild Rice Soup

1 cup diced ham
2 carrots, sliced or diced
1 celery stalk, diced
3/4 C. wild rice, uncooked
1 medium onion, chopped
1 3/4 c. chicken broth
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 cups water
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup frozen peas
1-2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar (optional)


1. Put the first 9 ingredients into a 4-quart slow cooker. Mix well and cook on low 7-8 hours. 

2. Stir in remaining ingredients. Turn cooker to high, cover, and cook an additional 15 minutes or until heated through.
